Unshackled is a faith-based audio drama produced in Chicago’s South Loop by Pacific Garden Mission.

We’ve been innovating the art form of audio dramas for more than 75 years, sharing true stories of real people whose lives are forever changed through Jesus Christ. Our storytelling now includes film and animation, and each program you see recorded on a Saturday is heard on radio stations around the world, on podcast platforms, YouTube, our free Unshackled app, and more.

Is parking provided? +

Yes, there is free on-site parking for you as long as you register and our team knows to expect you!

How long is each show? +

Each recording is 30-40 minutes long. Latecomers will need to wait until intermission to be seated, so please plan to arrive early to ensure you don’t miss Act I.

Can I bring my children? +

Yes, children are welcome; however, please be mindful that children must remain quiet during the show as it is an audio recording. Parents can sit near the exit in case they need to step into the hallway to assist their child. A speaker in the hallway will allow you to continue to listen to and enjoy the show.
