Is it free to attend?
Yes. There is no cost to attend a live recording.
Are recordings held every Saturday?
Live recordings are held every Saturday, with a few exceptions. But please check our Calendar to confirm.
Do I need to be familiar with Unshackled?
No. Longtime listeners and first-time guests are welcome.
Where are the recordings held?
In Chicago’s South Loop neighborhood.
Is parking provided?
Yes, there is free on-site parking for you as long as you register and our team knows to expect you!
How long is each show?
Each recording is 30-40 minutes long. Latecomers will need to wait until intermission to be seated, so please plan to arrive early to ensure you don’t miss Act I.
Can I bring my children?
Yes, children are welcome; however, please be mindful that children must remain quiet during the show as it is an audio recording. Parents can sit near the exit in case they need to step into the hallway to assist their child. A speaker in the hallway will allow you to continue to listen to and enjoy the show.Â
